Robert Pattinson – The final Twilight interviews »
March 10, 2012 | interview

As Breaking Dawn Part 1 arrives on DVD we get the low down on what’s next for Robert Pattinson

How did you find your last day on set, sad, happy?

Robert Pattinson: The last day in Canada was semi-miserable: we did two weeks of night shoots and it was freezing cold and it was horrible. But the actual last day in St. Thomas, in the Caribbean, was pretty amazing. The one time we had to shoot in nice weather, it was literally the last day of the shoot, and we were shooting on the beach and were just making out in the sea all night. That was the last day, so I was like, “That was not too bad!” It was a nice little send-off.

‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ trailer gets ‘Hunger Games’ debut »
March 8, 2012 | News Updates

As if we weren’t already excited about the impending release of “The Hunger Games,” now it looks like fans who manage to get tickets to the movie’s March 23 opening will also get an early peek at the final installment of “The Twilight Saga.”

The trailer for “Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ — the conclusion to our long national nightmare — will debut in theaters to its target demographic before they have a chance to be totally distracted by “The Hunger Games” and its own alternate teen love triangle.

But fear not — if you don’t have tickets, you’ll still get to see it. Summit Entertainment will be making a short clip from the teaser trailer available on March 20 before putting the entire trailer online on March 26.

Which are you more excited to see, Zappers?

2 More Twilight Stars Cast in TV Pilot Shows »
March 4, 2012 | News Updates

Fresh off of A Gifted Man‘s season (series?) finale, Rachelle Lefevre has been tapped star in the CBS drama pilot Applebaum.

Based on the Mommy Track Mysteries book series, Applebaum centers on Juliet Applebaum, a former public defender (Lefevre) who becomes a private investigator to fight off the boredom that can come along with being a stay-at-home mom.

The gig is in second position (see definition) to Gifted Man, which essentially means CBS will be forced to recast Lefevre’s role should the latter get a second season order. SOURCE

Another actor has joined J.J. Abrams and Supernatural creator Eric Kripke’s new Revolution.

Billy Burke, whose TV credits include The Closer, 24 and Rizzoli & Isles but who is perhaps best known for playing Kristen Stewart’s dad in the Twilight flicks — has been cast in NBC’s Abrams/Kripke-produced hour-long drama pilot.

The thriller is described as a high-octane action drama following a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.

The ensemble also includes Former Breaking Bad evildoer Giancarlo Esposito as a hard-as-steel military man with a genteel southern manner who may not always be what he seems. SOURCE

Stephenie Meyer ‘deeply annoyed’ at studio’s suggestion of sixth ‘Twilight’? »

New information, though, suggests that Stephenie Meyer herself is “deeply annoyed” with these conversations.

A tweet from Variety reporter Josh Dickey stated, “Stephenie Meyer was deeply annoyed that LG brass said they’d do more TWILIGHT pics. She has no such intention.”

Stephenie Meyer has been pretty up front about the fact that she’s finished with the Twilight Saga, at least for now, and is moving on to other things. While she’s probably not irritated with those among the Twilight fan community who wish to see the Saga continue – because that’s pretty understandable and is also a testament to her work – she might be peeved by the studio’s suggestion because it could end up letting some fans down if and when it doesn’t happen.

Robert Pattinson: ‘I’m already too old’ for any more ‘Twilight’ movies »
February 20, 2012 | interview

Speaking at a press conference at the Berlin Film Festival over the weekend, Robert Pattinson, who’s meteoric rise to fame is largely due to starring as vampire Edward Cullen in the film versions of the popular “Twilight” novels, has said he’s not sure he could pull off another film.

Author Stephenie Meyer has toyed with the idea of writing more novels about her Forks, Wash. characters, which Pattinson says may be interesting.

“I’d be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I’d probably be too old. I’m already too old. But yeah, it’d be kind of interesting,” says Pattinson.

“Breaking Dawn Part 2,” the fifth and final movie in the “Twilight” franchise hits theaters Nov. 18, 2012.

Catching Up with Julia Jones— The actress talks Twilight, her JP roots, and her favorite Boston-bred actor. »

Attending Columbia University in NYC, she continued her acting journey with the help Ruth Babson, with whom she studied 25 hours a week. Her hard work paid off with roles in films like the indie The Look and Jonah Hex opposite Josh Brolin. Then along came Twilight.

“I got a phone call from a casting agent to come in and audition for the Twilight movie Eclipse. I had not read any of the books, so I quickly ran to Barnes and Noble and flipped through them.” After reading twice for the director and casting crew, she agonized for a month until she heard the good news — only to be told she had to keep it a secret for another month. “I couldn’t tell anyone, not even my family.”
