Edward played the piano in ‘Twilight’ and now he’s about to do it again! Do you think the duet will be emotional?
Robert Pattinson is about to hit the keys again! The 25-year-old actor stars in next year’s Breaking Dawn Part 2 and he will be performing a duet with his half-vampire daughter Renesmee! We literally can’t wait — Rob is such a great musician.
Carter Burwell, the composer from Twilight and Breaking Dawn Part 1, spoke about what it was like to write the father/daughter duet!
“Generally, I don’t actually write anything until a film has actually been shot,” he tells The Sag Harbor Express. “But, there are some exceptions. In the movie I’m working on right now, which is Breaking Dawn: Part II, they needed Rob Pattinson and the actress who plays his daughter to play piano onscreen. I had to write this duet before they shot the film so they could actually learn the parts. Rob is a musician, so he prides himself on working out the fingering for these correctly.”
Rob recorded two songs on the Twilight soundtrack: “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign” — written by his buds Marcus Foster and Bobby Long.
Kristen Stewart bought Rob two guitars for Christmas and we hope it’s so he can record his own album!

This is certainly one way to get people to attend a release party. Target will extend store hours in nearly 500 stores across the country on Feb. 10 to host a DVD-Blu-ray event for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1, which hits shelves at midnight. Beginning at 11 p.m., fans will be treated to the exclusive world premiere of a scene from the fifth and final film, in theaters this November. The scene will not be available on Target’s exclusive Limited-Collector’s Edition DVD. That does, however, come with an authentic prop flower from Bella and Edward’s wedding scene. To search for participating stores, go to Target.com/Twilight.
And before you try to bribe Target employees into telling you which scene will be shown, EW is told that no one at Target will know the answer to that question until that evening.

Here’s a story in two parts. The first part is that, after a very long series of negotiations that goes back to 2008, a deal was finalized today in which Lionsgate will purchase Summit Entertainment for $412.5m in cash and stock. Part of the impetus for the sale is the ending Twilight film series, which concludes this fall with the release of Breaking Dawn Part 2. Or does that planned conclusion really have to be the end of Twilight?
While Summit investors wanted to get this deal done before Twilight ended and Summit’s overall value fell, it seems like some at Lionsgate don’t feel like Twilight has to be done. Today Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer said he hopes to continue Twilight in some form, either in film or television.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 opens on November 16, and should be a huge release for Summit, and now Lionsgate. But Lionsgate, which has already pushed the Saw series to more installments than can be counted on one hand, may try to further exploit Twilight.
Speaking to the LA Times, Feltheimer said, “I’m anticipating ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2? being $700 million-plus in worldwide box office.”
He was asked about “whether the franchise would continue in some form,” to which Feltheimer answered,
It’s hard for me to imagine a movie that does $700 million-plus doesn’t have ongoing value. It’s an amazing franchise that they have done a great job of maintaining with absolutely no deterioration. So the simple answer is ‘Boy I hope so.’

Firstly, congratulations to Robert Pattinson for winning a People’s Choice Award for “Water For Elephants”. I watched the movie finally on Pay Per View for my birthday and it was a deeply touching movie. Rob was amazing.
Now onto photos. I’ve added 60 HQ photos of Robert Pattinson (some picture with the amazing Betty White) and Ashley Greene.

If you only know Peter Facinelli as flaxen-haired Cullen patriarch Carlisle, prepare to see a whole new (criminal!) side of the actor when his screenwriting debut, “Loosies,” opens today. Peter stars in the independent film as Bobby, a pick-pocket who accidentally impregnates a girl during their one-night stand. (What would Esme say?!) Get More: Movie Trailers, Movies Blog
We sat down with Peter to get all the dish on his romance caper but, of course, talk inevitably turned to “The Twilight Saga,” whose final installment hits theaters November 16. Though he has yet to see any footage from the highly anticipated release, Peter was more than happy to share a bit about the scope of the grandiose production.

Broadway is about to get a little extra sparkle in those famous neon lights.
It was recently announced the Twilight musical is officially happening. Before you book your tickets to NYC (or, conversely, get the heck out of Times Square) you should know it’s not expected to have a very long run. Twilight: The Musical will make its off-Broadway debut as a one-night-only staged reading on January 16th, and the proceeds will benefit the charity Blessings in a Backpack.
The most exciting thing about this announcement may be the cast, and the plot teases their characters’ names give us. In addition to Bella and Edward, (who already sings a lullaby—why shouldn’t he also belt out a Broadway tune?) the name that gets me onboard is the totally awesome Lauren Lopez (Alice), who played Draco Malfoy opposite Darren Criss’ Harry Potter in the spectacular A Very Potter Musical.
