Pardon my absence from the site, Twilighters, this is the busiest time of year for me and on top of that I’ve had a severe illness to deal with this month, and I’m still having a hard time getting around because of it. But we’ve hit our goal of 100 Videos by the end of the year!
I’ve added 14 videos to the media archive, including 13 from the Twilight premiere in London on December 3 and one of Taylor Lautner at the Twilight L.A. premiere in November:
If I’m not up to posting before the year is out, have a great new year Twilighters, and keep looking forward to the next film!
I just wanted to wish everyone a early Merry Christmas. I hope you have a fun and safe time and that santa gives you everything you asked for. This will be my last post until, at the earliest, Monday. Enjoy your Christmas break.

As many of you may of heard, Catherine Hardwicke is not coming back to do New Moon or Eclipse. To take her place is a man named Chris Weitz. You can see Kristen’s and Rob’s reactions to this here.

Hey Twilighters!
Sorry about my lack of updates as of late. My personal life has taken over and I haven’t had much time to take care of web stuff. Thanks to Faith, Kristina and Sally for watching out for the site. These girls rock and I’m so thankful for such a wonderful and dedicated team!
I did finally see Twilight a week after it was released and I was pleasantly surprised. Even Kristen Stewart surprised me. While I still don’t think she was the perfect Bella, she was believable and I mildly enjoyed her performance.
Pattinson stole the show and I love him even more! His smoldering look, his tortured soul, etc… He nailed it all.
My favourite surprises were Lautner as Jacob, Greene as Alice, Rathbone as Jasper, Reed as Rosalie and Burke as Charlie. These were characters we did not get a chance to see during all the scenes and promotional videos and they were fantastic. Greene was especially believable as Alice. I cannot wait for New Moon to come out because we’ll get to see more of Lautner and Greene!
Now I have a lot of updates coming up, and I will get them all taken care of on Thursday. I have a ton of magazines scanned and to be scanned, not to mention the entire collection of Twilight trading cards
Here are two articles that I saw today after logging off my hotmail account:
Despite film’s success, ‘Twilight’ director won’t return for sequel
LOS ANGELES - “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke won’t be back for “New Moon,” the sequel to the hit teen vampire romance.
“Twilight” star Kristen Stewart to rock Joan Jett role
“Twilight” star Kristen Stewart has signed to play Joan Jett in a musical biopic called “The Runaways” based on the singer-songwriter and her titular band. The band was created as a “leather and lace” novelty act, but Jett’s talent sent them in a different direction. The film will cover Jett’s early days, the formation of the band, its evolution and end.
Stay tuned for more Twilight related stuff! I have some co-workers reading the series, and I will ask them to write their thoughts and reviews for the site! Keep your eyes open.
Also, I am extending deadlines for our support book and contest. Keep your eyes open for details on that. There will also be some changes to the prizes for the Costume Contest. Due to the cost of the items, I will have to make the changes and I will update soon with the revised prize list.
Thanks for everything. See you all in the Twilight…
Sorry guys for not being able to update sooner. I have been real busy with my life lately. So, to make up for it, here are some news items.
BBC News talks with the hunky Robert Pattinson.
Do you think that Catherine should direct the other Twilight movies? Click here to see what she has to say about the matter.
ReelzChannel has a video about “Wild for Twilight” about Robert Pattinson.
MTV.com talks with Jackson Rathbone about his upcoming movie, ‘Dread’.
That’s all for now, but I’ll be back soon.
Have a fun weekend everyone!
