New information, though, suggests that Stephenie Meyer herself is “deeply annoyed” with these conversations.

A tweet from Variety reporter Josh Dickey stated, “Stephenie Meyer was deeply annoyed that LG brass said they’d do more TWILIGHT pics. She has no such intention.”

Stephenie Meyer has been pretty up front about the fact that she’s finished with the Twilight Saga, at least for now, and is moving on to other things. While she’s probably not irritated with those among the Twilight fan community who wish to see the Saga continue – because that’s pretty understandable and is also a testament to her work – she might be peeved by the studio’s suggestion because it could end up letting some fans down if and when it doesn’t happen.

Author Stephenie Meyer has toyed with the idea of writing more novels about her Forks, Wash. characters, which Pattinson says may be interesting.

“I’d be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I’d probably be too old. I’m already too old. But yeah, it’d be kind of interesting,” says Pattinson.

“Breaking Dawn Part 2,” the fifth and final movie in the “Twilight” franchise hits theaters Nov. 18, 2012.

“I got a phone call from a casting agent to come in and audition for the Twilight movie Eclipse. I had not read any of the books, so I quickly ran to Barnes and Noble and flipped through them.” After reading twice for the director and casting crew, she agonized for a month until she heard the good news — only to be told she had to keep it a secret for another month. “I couldn’t tell anyone, not even my family.”

February 11, 2012

I’ve already said a lot about Breaking Dawn in various interviews, so most of this is probably not news. It was a surreal year in a lot of ways and also a crazy crash course in movie making, which came in really handy last summer (see Austenland).

Some of my favorite memories from filming BD 1&2, in random order:

- Weathering a “white squall” off the coast of Paraty, Brazil with the cast and crew during the filming of the honeymoon. We got trapped for the night due to rough seas—roughly 130 people in a house with eight beds, no food, and a very small amount of drinking water. I spent the night on the stair landing, sharing an old mattress covered in blackout fabric with the set photographer, set publicist, and the EPK team. (Shout out to the stair gang! Never forget!) I was actually offered a chance to escape, as was Bill Condon, but we both decided to go down with ship rather than abandon our crew.

- Exploring the third version of the Cullen House, a.k.a. Howl’s Moving Castle, now bigger and better than ever. Finally getting to see Alice’s room was awesome.

- Watching the creation of a three-story wedding cake composed of dead bodies. I may or may not have climbed to the top to get a picture.

- Being there for Kristen’s first wedding dress fitting. Magic. Even Summit’s head of marketing got all teary.

- Hanging with the new vampires. We had a lot of very cool people with us, which made the daily grind—particularly the days with wall-to-wall green screen and breathing-hazard fake snow—much more fun.

- Playing Farkle (wikipedia.org/wiki/Farkle) with Taylor and company. Yes, it is a real game, and just because I won doesn’t mean I was cheating.

- Wearing more clothes at one time than I’ve ever worn on our Pemberton , B.C. set. People from Arizona should not go outside during February in Canada. They just embarrass themselves.

So, the quality of the video in this scene from “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2″ is not the greatest. Nor is the sound.

But if you’re a serious Twihard, that may be an acceptable tradeoff to get a glimpse of the final installment of the movie franchise, which will be released in November.

Target stores hosted DVD release parties for “Breaking Dawn Part 1″ at midnight Friday (Feb. 10), and they included a peek at a scene from “Part 2.” A fan shot video of the scene playing on several TVs, and while we can tell it’s a tender moment between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson), the audio — it sounds as if the volume was up on several of the sets — is pretty tough to make out.

Per one of the comments on YouTube, Edward tells Bella in part, “I? have a bad habit of underestimating you. Every obstacle you’ve faced, I didn’t think you’d overcome. You just did. You have something to fight for — our family.” As he leaves the room, Bella then goes to examine a copy of Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice” from which a page has been torn.

Also? It looks like Target is having a sale on TVs.

So what do you think, Twihards? Was the scene worth staying up past midnight?

In just a few short hours, Bella and Edward will be yours to have and to hold forever as “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ hits DVD and Blu-ray. Target stores across the country (500 in all) will be hosting special release parties beginning at 11 p.m., where you’ll not only be able to pick up a copy of the hot hit but also see a sneak peek clip of “Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” (Yes, we are squeezing our Edward Cullen doll extra tight right now to avoid hyperventilating…)

But we can’t let Target have all the fun. Nuh-uh. Which is why we spent the better part of this afternoon watching the disc’s nearly 90-minute, six-part making-of documentary. And boy did we learn a lot—we could write a thesis! But we won’t. Cause that’d be boring. So instead, we’ve compiled a list of five interesting facts we gleaned from the special feature. Check ‘em out after the jump!

He’s baaaaaaack. After haranguing Saturday Night Live for their Tim Tebow lampoon, Pat Robertson has joined the anti-Twilight bandwagon. The 81-year-old aspiring hipster and fundamentalist minister deemed Stephenie Meyer’s sparklevamp franchise “evil” in a recent segment on his TV show, the 700 Club.

Responding a a viewer question about whether the series promotes witchcraft, Robertson recounted a story of demon possession told to him by a friend. According to Robertson, the demon in question “had permission” to possess a young girl because she had been enticed by the timeless love story of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. “It opened the door to demonic power. Yes, I think those vampire movies are evil,” said Robertson. “There are no vampires. The whole thing is demonic.” See more of Robertson’s thoughts on Twilight below.
