In 2008, the little-known cast of the upcoming movie “Twilight” posed for a Vanity Fair group shot. The movie — and the actors in it, including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner — went on to fame, fortune and lots of sequels. Here’s hoping the same mojo holds for “The Hunger Games.” In Vanity Fair’s latest issue, the movie’s young cast — anchored by star Jennifer Lawrence — pose in what we’ll now officially call the “Vanity Fair Teen Fantasy Movie Ensemble Shot.”
“The Hunger Games” — based on the popular young adult books by Suzanne Collins about a dystopian future where children are forced to battle gladiator style — is currently filming in North Carolina and expected to hit theaters in March 2012. Meanwhile, the next “Twilight” installment, “Breaking Dawn Part 1,” is due in theaters on Nov. 18, just in time for Thankgsgiving.
In addition to Lawrence, “The Hunger Games” stars (in the order pictured above, l-r) Isabelle Furhman, Jack Quaid (yep, his parents are Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan), Jacqueline Emerson, Dayo Okeniyi, Leven Rambin, Alexander Ludwig, Amandla Stenberg, Josh Hutcherson, Lawrence and, finally, Liam Hemsworth.
The over-30 members of the cast, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci and Lenny Kravitz, were not included in the pic. Also left out, 11-year-old Willow Shields, who plays Lawrence’s younger sister, Prim.

The “Breaking Dawn Part I” madness has begun. The movie premiered in Rome on Sunday (Oct. 30) and while most of the cast was not on hand, stars Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone were there to not only walk the red carpet, but also participate in a Q&A session with the media and fans.
The premiere was part of the 6th annual International Rome Film Festival. Other films being screened at the festival include Michelle Williams’ “My Week With Marilyn”; “Catching Hell,” the story of Steve Bartman and the Chicago Cubs; “A Few Best Men,” starring Xavier Samuel and Olivia Newton-John; and “Too Big to Fail,” the chronicle of the 2008 financial crisis.
Richard Gere will also be receiving the Marcus Aurelius award to honor his film career. The festival kicked off Thursday, Oct. 27 and runs through Friday, Nov. 4.
“Breaking Dawn’s” United States premiere will take place Monday, Nov. 14 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

We’re still dying to see Bella Swan’s Breaking Dawn wedding gown, but in the meantime, we have Alice Cullen’s bridesmaid dress to quell our curiosity.
The flapper-esque frock (far left), with a silvery striped pattern and fringed skirt, “was a collaboration,” actress Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen, explained in August. “We wanted to have all the bridesmaids fit together and also have their own identity. So, we took a little bit of Alice’s past and put it into her dress.” (In the photo above, Cullen is joined at the nuptials by beau Jasper Hale and parents Carlisle and Esme Cullen.)
And just like finally finding the perfect wig for her character, Greene said the final choice for the dress was also a perfect fit — well, almost. “I didn’t love the corset,” she admitted. “There were corsets in them and we took them out by the end of the movie. We were just like, ‘We don’t care!’ There’s dancing and stuff like that so that was the only part that I didn’t like because that was uncomfortable, but once the corset came out I loved it.” Tell us: What do you think of the bridesmaid dress?

Hotly anticipated and excessively punctuated, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn; Part 1 doesn’t hit theaters in the U.S. until Nov. 18, but the film had its premiere in Paris last night. Although series star Kristen Stewart was a no-show, vampire idol Robert Pattinson strolled down the red carpet with co-star Ashley Greene. Check out some pictures from the event below. (Fun fact: In France, the Twilight fourquel is known as Twilight — Chapitre 4: Révélation 1ère partie. What a colorful language!)

By the time “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ hits theaters on Nov. 18 (exactly a month away!), it’s possible that we’ll have already seen the entire movie frame-by-frame in the series of stills released by Summit Entertainment in the months leading up to the premiere.
It’s okay — we’re not complaining.
Seven new photos, which give us a peek at everything from how vampires rearrange forests for weddings to the obligatory smoldering Taylor Lautner close-up, just hit the Internet. Another shot shows Lautner (Jacob) spoiling for what looks like a fight and Edward’s (Robert Pattinson) loving family looking on as he and Bella (Kristen Stewart) tie the knot.
