The Big Revelations: After a long wait, fans finally got to see Bella as a vampire! “I’ve been waiting too,” Stewart said later. “I love [Vampire Bella]. I think she’s the coolest one.”
Footage Screened: After a pre-taped intro from director Bill Condon (who couldn’t make it as he’s busy working on the score of the film), fans got to see the first seven minutes of Part 2. Highlights included Bella trying out her vampire strength and speed for the first time as well as taking down a mountain lion. The crowd went wild.
Snap Judgment: Fans are enthused! There’s a lot of humor and warmth that comes through these first few minutes and later, the scene in which the Cullen clan advised Bella how to pass as human drew big laughs and cheers.
Most Incisive Audience Question: Rob Pattinson was asked what advice Breaking Dawn Edward would give to Twilight Edward. His answer? “Keep it in your pants.”Check back at EW.com later today for more on the Breaking Dawn panel and press conference at Comic-Con.
